ABOUT ACTIVE OUTDOOR DISCOVERY
Primary Resources Geography
My name is Adrian Hall. I am a freelance Expedition Leader, Outdoor Activities Instructor (with an enhanced DBS check), qualified Mountain Leader and graduate geologist.
After a successful career in international scientific publishing, I established Active Outdoor Discovery in 2010 to share my passion for maps, navigation and exploration. Since then, I have run sessions in hundreds of schools all over East Anglia and beyond.
Having travelled widely and participated in expeditions to remote areas – including Alaska, Arctic Canada, Greenland, Svalbard, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Lofoten Islands, Galapagos Islands, Norway, Sweden, Morocco, Botswana, Kenya, Zambia, Nicaragua, Malawi, Malaysia, Namibia, Borneo, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Uganda, Ecuador, Swaziland, Madagascar and others – I have a wealth of experience of these fascinating areas and anecdotes aplenty.
